Laundry Detergent Savings
With school about to hit, stained, holey, too-small outfits will no longer suffice, so I've been making a list of things I really ought to replace before the school calls us out for indecent exposure. As Lars tumbled through the hall yesterday, I called out, "Lars, how does that underwear you're wearing fit?"
Barely distracted from his role as a Baby Pokemon About to Hatch From His Egg, he replied, "What underwear?"

Hee hee. Laughing, laughing, laughing over here. Don't think you can get a point out of this, but it's funny.
Awesome. I cycled out the kids shorts and tank tops yesterday in favor of capris, short- and long-sleeved tees, jeans, and yoga pants.
For some reason, my mother and stepmother-in-law both buy Lauren packs and packs of underwear. I often will cycle out pairs that have a bit of wear - fading - for this reason. Even so, I ended up backing 4 5-pair packages in her 3-T box last spring. I seem to lack socks, though. Soccer was very hard on socks. Do you OXY them? I have to figure something out...
I throw up my hands over socks. NOTHING works to get them clean and none of the sock knitters I've written to have responded to my urgent cry for GRAY tube socks. The best I can do is buy the kind with gray bottoms...but even those look funky after a run-in with a mud puddle. Did you know I keep mud puddles in my back hall? New socks need not fear - there's never a danger of them being "too clean."
