September Is Probably Mine

Dinner is just starting to smell good and I hear Chris actively shooing first one and then the other boy out of the kitchen. Cries of, "Put that down! We're going to have dinner!" and "No, you cannot have a granola bar!" are rapidly being issued. I'm pondering what has inspired the frenzied hunger when I realize what's wrong. The first day of school here is a half-day - no lunch at school and I never fed them when they got home. Oops...

This blog is hilarious! I am a cousin of Paige Biagi and Ashley Long. I have just laughed and laughed at your posts. I plan to visit often...

Oh I Guess we can give you a point for inadvertantly depriving your children of a meal. But it's not like they are 2. They could have mentioned not eating lunch.

I'm just sayin.

It's probably illegal to not feed your child lunch. I would google it and post a link, but who really has the energy.

ooooh, don't let them fool you. i used to be a lunch lady in between classes at the elementary. all the kids who don't want THEIR lunches at the table give away their food. and then there's the table at the front of the cafeteria for unwanted food which makes it's way to kids who forgot (or hungry lunch ladies who pass out spoons from their aprons)! lol...can you believe i was a lunch lady? some days i still feel like i am! lol...i was still thinking a point for you. and then you had to go and feel bad about it. you've been away from the WME blog. you're rusty! you've turned into a BME! get with the program! :)

Definitely 1 WMP for not feeding them lunch.

Am I correct to assume that -A is Alec, rather than for Anonymous?

A: If it's illegal, is there a chance someone might take the children away? Maybe for a little while, while the matter is considered? If not, get ready because we'll all be at your house this weekend and my kids will be STARVED.

sis k: It's not that the kids didn't eat their lunch, on a half-day at school, there isn't a lunch period! The kids go to school until noon and are tossed on the buses and sent home for lunch. Or, in our case, sent home to be starved by their mother, while she tortures them with their homework.
