The bonus of humidity
I have discovered that there is one bonus to this humidity--the doors to Will's bedroom stick. Whereas he has gotten past those "child-security" door locks in minutes, he's now stuck in there until I've had my fill of freedom or until he agrees to be nice, whichever takes longer.
One more note, or rather a question for Karen: how long did it take Lars' black eye to go away?

I say 2 WMPs for this: one for discovering the swollen door is childproof, and the other for giving him a black eye.
Besides, everyone knows that Lars always has a black eye. With his summer haircut and white blond hair he just needs a sling shot in his back pocket to complete his Dennis The Menace look...
Epiphany's right - it's hard to tell how long a single black eye lasts when he attains them in such quick succession. I would guess two weeks for an average one, though. He's still working on the doozy from last year, though. Color has been gone for months but he's still got a hard lump of something over his cheekbone that just wasn't there before.
Did you hit Will with the doorknob whilst releasing him?
We lock Ben in his bedroom everynight, but I don't get any WMPs for it. We had to start doing it because he was getting up in the wee hours and inflicting harm on our home as well as surfing the net and the ripe old age of two. He wakes up each morning and hollers "MAAAMAAA" until I come get him. The lock does work well for those time outs that I need to last a bit longer than the probably should.
