How to respond to your 17-month-old when she demands pee-pee potty
It seemed to be what she was after. She just sat there for about 10 minutes wanting to put pieces of toilet paper into the pot.
We're not supposed to discourage potty behavior, right? I have no idea. Talking to my 17-month-old is a little like trying to reason with a drunk.

who knew that the potty could be more mesmorizing than Barney to a 17mo. old? lol...
Ok, I can't really find a point here, either. It has potential, though! If the potty is still mesmerizing, use that to your advantage. Next time you need five minutes to do something uninterrupted, plop her on the potty. I think intentional use of the bathroom as a babysitter would be worth something...
