Honestly? I was more amazed that the box wasn't empty...
Yes, I made Lauren clean them up. "No fair, Mama!"
"Sure it is. Who do you think had to clean up after you?"
Where every day is Zero Nutrition Thursday...
Twelve of us Mamas make up Worst. Mama. Ever., an informal competition to entertain those of you out there also aspiring to get through this chaotic mess of trying to raise small people.

I know this might seem obvious, but this blog is above all a humor blog. Don't take what we say too seriously because we certainly don't.

Epiphany-Is that your baby girl?? Wow! She is so cute. Magically delicious! And Clara has that outfit. Clara also does the tissue thing regularly. It's a challenge, trying to keep them where Ben can reach them but not Clara-bear. Of course lately I could keep them on top of the fridge and Ben would find a way to get to them, so I don't know what I am worried about.
Oh and can I just say to whoever thought of this blog, Thank you very much. It allows me to express the other side of me. Joy in Chaos is sappy and sentimental (which is me) but this is ranty and irritable and silly (which is kinda me too)
What can I say, I am apparently too multifaceted for one blog.
1 WMP for making Lauren clean up! The look on Lin's face is priceless...she's either thinking, "Now what?" or "Twenty-three..."
@Joy: one of them...that's Lindsay. I can only take credit for the mechanics of setting up the blog - Karen was earning Worst Mama Points before my kids showed up...
@Karen: Actually, the look is "You can try to hide them, but I'll find them..."
What's wrong with this? I routinely gave my toddlers brand new boxes of tissues for long car trips. Sure, it made for a mess in the car (think Buffalo in Feb '77), but it also made for silencio. And it was cheap. $2 for 20 minutes? Well worth it. What's that you say about inhaling tissue dust? Ah, well. 1 WMP.
I feel like such an idiot, I spent $100 on a portable DVD player for our last long car trip and I could've just bought a stinkin' box of tissues?!?
@k'n's: Don't feel too bad - we also bought the DVD player! I am SO stocking up on tissues for our next jaunt up to the lake.
was at a baby shower yesterday for a worst mama to be & heard that there are gadgets you can put on a TP roll so that only so much can come off (maybe not so great for adults) but i wonder if they have them for tissues! LOL...classic...
@Karen: isn't there a pic somewhere of Ross at the TP roll in Superman?
p.s.-remember tissues, empty paper towel tubes & boxes for the holidays...who needs toys r us? just go to costco :)
Ahem, well, we own a DVD player now too. Kleenex brand softness just doesn't cut it anymore.
